Good German cooking, a regular menu with a choice of three(3) main meals. There is a salat bar & regular desserts on offer. A worker canteen, clean & modern. Visited by office workers & tradesmen/craftsmen/building workers etc of the MIBRAG company & their contractors. Open to regular non-workers The prices are absolutely affordable & surprisingly cheap. Lunch-time is from 11:00 to 13:00 hours then the canteen is full. I try to visit at either 10:00 or around 12:30 midday ... but it doesn't really matter. I am grateful for this canteen when I work in this area. A god-send, because their is no other canteen/cafe/imbiss etc for some miles. There is a small Supermarket in Draschwitz (a village about 7km south) or Pegau (a town about 7km north) of Profen where you can find cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, shops, bakeries, petrol/gas stations etc. If you are a tourist in Profen make you midday break here. The canteen is run by Saxon Catering of Leipzig, and they do a great job - I am a happy customer. I should actually give five(5) stars ***** ????❤️????????☀️????????
