I can't praise this restaurant enough! We stayed for 3 nights in Schönau am Königssee, and for our first dinner, we chose this restaurant because it offers a diverse cuisine - from outstanding pizzas, to excellent goulash soup, to dishes close to our Balkan heart (ražnjići, cevapi, pljeskavica) or Wiener schnitzel - and then, for every break with coffee and cakes after a long walk through this beautiful area, and for every dinner, we chose this restaurant. It was Easter and the restaurant was full, but despite that, the service was fast and professional, which is another reason why we preferred to sit here rather than in one of the restaurants closer to the lake, which were somewhat off-puttingly touristy. Pizzeria Lago offered a very nice relaxed atmosphere; during the day, we sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view. I highly recommend it to everyone. We will definitely return to Schönau am Königssee, and I'm sure our first meal will be right here! All praise to the staff, thank you!
