This was my first time here and I came with a friend who was raving about this place. It's a super nice little restaurant with interesting furniture and a small open kitchen. In regards to the food I liked both our appetizers: The edamame, which are served warm here and sprinkled with rock salt and the summer rolls with chicken were delicious too. For first main we had the beef salad, a fresh and delicious half warm dish that would also be perfect for a light yet tasty lunch. Then there came the dumplings, the part I was most interested about and even though I have to give them five stars for creativity ( e.g. goulash and krustenraten dumplings, different colors and shapes as well as beautiful little salads and sauces on the side) but unfortunate the skin of some of the dumplings wasn't completely done yet and still a bit doughy. The filling of others was dry and bland (e.g. duck). Nothing the sauces couldn't solve but for that price tag I would have expected some more flavour in the dumplings itself. Let's also mention others were just great like the goulash bao. One thing also confused me was that this set had 9 dumlings (4 vegetarian 5 meaty) but the menu showed 10 different types (please correct me if I'm wrong). Again for almost 18eur why not show off all your types? Anyways, dessert was a nice surprise as these cococonut balls tasted exactly like my beloved kueh tutu. All in all a great concept, nice setup and actually great service. Everybody in this place was super nice, funny and happy. So I'll be back to see if I just picked the wrong night as everybody, who told me about this place just loved it. So see you soon. Ps: they make almost everything themselves and even if they buy in they'll make sure there are no additives in ask their dishes. That is pretty awesome.

Not to drum up any drama but when you see white Germans attempting to cook Asian food I'm generally skeptical (the same would be said if it was vice versa). In the end, the food was what I expected. Too much sauce in the dishes, the sauce was way too sour, and the rice portion size was abysmal. The dim sum was a terrible combination of different ingredients that just did not blend well. Sauerkraut in steamed dumplings?! I'm sure they tried making an effort but I will not be going back again. It's trying to be more of hip be seen joint rather than focusing on what all restaurants should focus on...food being delicious.

Gutes "Crossover" Essen! Die Dim Sums mit Gulasch sind der Hammer! Preislich aber gehoben....
