I recently dined at this restaurant and had a mixed experience. The food was absolutely delightful; the flavors were spot on, showcasing a high level of culinary skill. Given the current economic climate, I understood why the prices might be a bit steep, though I did find them slightly higher than expected.
The ambiance during a weekday evening was quite pleasant, not too crowded, which I appreciated. It provided a nice setting to enjoy the meal without too much noise or distraction.
However, the service was a significant downside to my dining experience. Our waiter was notably unfriendly and inattentive. Despite the restaurant not being overly busy, we were left standing for 30 minutes before being given menus, waited another 30 minutes to place our order, and it took nearly an hour after our meal to receive the bill. Throughout this time, our attempts to catch the waiter’s attention were ignored, which was incredibly frustrating.
While the quality of the food was exceptional and I genuinely enjoyed what I ate, the poor service significantly impacted the overall experience. It’s disheartening when the service does not match the quality of the cuisine. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I believe there’s great potential here if the service improves.
